‘69 Squareback Roll-out and Scarlett’s roof rack

Today we roll out the ‘69 Square - she has been sitting since last year waiting for work to resume…

Here we have Lindy (the bug), The Pickleback (maroon), and Scarlett (blue).

The Pickle has had all work paused since last year. Here we bring her out to get a hand wash.

She looks a little funny on her little skates. Once we are further along, we will lower her to achieve that nice tuck under the fenders.

Next for her is to install the headliner. Right now, it is just clipped in. I think the gray mohair liner is going to look fantastic!

Lined with Kilamat sound deadening pretty much everywhere. It is quite satisfying wrapping your knuckles on the panels. No ringing, just a dull thud.

The Gulf Blue on Scarlett is looking mighty fine as she comes together.

Check out the red fender beading along with the same red peeking out of the wheels.

Additionally, there are LED strips behind the louvers and will glow red at night.

So nice!

Brian cuts down strips of wood for the roof rack.

…and then sands the bottom to ensure they fit into the aluminum channel.
